We are tapping into
2025’s Top Travel Trends
-
The Trend: ‘SKI’ = Spending Your Kids’ Inheritance. Two-fifths of the key demographic surveyed admitted they’d rather take the trip of a lifetime than leave an inheritance to their children. That said, Boomers are also showing a generous side, often paying for their children's and grandchildren’s vacations. Seems it’s more fun to spend the money when you can watch those you love enjoy it.

The Trend: Old trend, new name - MeMooners. Solo travel will be with us for a while, but fun to call it something new. The Trend: Culinary experiences are helping us connect with a destination, so much so that it continues to reign supreme year-over-year as one of the top reasons for travel. Moving into 2025, this should be a main focus for tourism as it is the simplest way to find common ground and is an incredibly powerful way to understand a culture through cuisine.
Additionally, restaurants have become the ultimate hotel amenity, as travelers are not just making room reservations, but dinner reservations as well. Hotels around the world have opened critically acclaimed restaurants featuring Michelin-starred chefs and rotating seasonal menus to attract guests, as noted by Hotels.com. The popular booking platform goes on to note that a third of travelers say room service from a famous hotel restaurant would make them more likely to book, while 31% say restaurant tables reserved exclusively for hotel guests would be their top reason.
